I know, I know – it’s been too long since I’ve written. The truth is that I just haven’t felt like it. To be quite honest, I don’t feel like it right now. Beautiful, blessed inspiration struck and I don’t want to write anything that isn’t the new book I’m working on (but don’t count on anything incredible because I have yet to finish any work of fiction I’ve begun).
We’re back on the road again! We spent a few glorious and super busy weeks at home in September before we flew back out to Indiana and continued our trek across the nation. Last week we got to spend time with some family and some good friends. Zoey had the best time of all playing with Casey’s childhood friends’ kids. And man, it’s cool to see them all interact.
I never really had a chance to write about our last week or so on the road before going home, but unfortunately, I can’t download them from iCloud because I can’t technology. I has the tech dumb. And since they’re stuck there for what I assume is all of time, I’ll have to post the pictures from South Dakota (the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands) and Minnesota (the Mall of America) at a later date. Probably. If I remember. I’m just trying to live my best life here!
From here on out, I’ll try to go back to my weekly posts (but no promises because remember I’m working on a book again – HUZZAH!). I’ll make sure I take some pictures of orange and red and yellow foliage (that’s what Autumn looks like in places that aren’t Texas – just FYI) Until then, happy fall, y’all! (Imagine I said that in a super country accent and it really makes for a terrific sign-off)
A new book, you say? Looking forward, Michelle. You’ve got it this time 😉
